The Edutec "Tallinn Space" that the group EL CANDIL launched in the social "San Roque", last year 2009 in collaboration with the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the town of Totana, continues its activities with the game protagonist to facilitate learning the English language and culture among children and youth of our town.
As a new "Tallinn Space" with the special collaboration of two native English speaking volunteers, Nick and Kay, who visit the center every Tuesday from 17:30 to 19:00 for activities suggested by them or to collaborate on different tasks by qualified instructors who plan to attend this project, such as games, crafts, workshops, panels and group dynamics, where kids can practice what they learned in school to improve skills learned in this language.
This initiative is rehabilitative in nature and is in addition to the various activities and projects that the collective "The Candle" develops in Totana and other municipalities in the region, with the aim of promoting the development of the individual within the environment to which it belongs , these actions promote the revitalization of community development.
"Tallinn Space" is open in the afternoon and work with small groups with similar age ranges.
The hours available are: Monday from 16:00 to 19:00, Tuesday and Thursday from 16:15 to 20:15 hrs.
To supplement the recreational activities offered in the Edutec, and continuing with the commitment of the association for training, this project includes the same Social Center of San Roque a Classroom Educational Reinforcement for boys and girls of primary and secondary.
In this room, staffed by a qualified teacher can do chores and homework, answer questions, prepare exams and learning study skills under the supervision of a qualified teacher.
Timing of this activity is: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 17:00 to 19:00 hrs.
