The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the president of the Local Assembly of the Spanish Red Cross, Juan Periago Ruiz, have signed a collaboration agreement for the carrying out of social action and solidarity to the different needs and specific demands women in our county, amounting to 3,000 euros in total.
Through this agreement, which will last year and was approved by the Local Government Committee at its last meeting, is aimed at carrying out activities in support of women by this organization.
Under this agreement, as noted by the Mayor of Totana, it proceeds to continue the collaboration with Red Cross Totana, who has been working for years with the City, and in particular with the Department of Women and Equality in the activities and projects developed in the field of women.
The purpose of this agreement, according to city councilman, "is to continue promoting the activities of social intervention and solidarity to the different needs and specific demands of women in our municipality."
Specifically, the amount of agreement is for comprehensive care programs on family violence, coeducation and talks to various women's associations in the municipality, and other activities of social solidarity.
