A total of eight schools in Totana participate in the opening round regional "Open chess" School Sport (28/01/2010)

The second day of Sports Open Chess School, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, took place on Saturday 23 January in Alguazas, attended by 8 students of Totana, belonging to schools of "The Milagrosa "," Juan de la Cierva "and" Mayor Prado.

From the Sports Council have highlighted the first place achieved by Pedro Romero, the school "La Milagrosa", and the tenth place of Francisco Javier Romero Perez, the IES Prado Mayor, "about a total of 35 schools across the region Murcia, for ages infant and young cadet.

The second day of the school competition will also take place in Alguazas on Saturday 13 February, while the Regional Final will be on Saturday 27 February.
