The councilman of Social Welfare and Citizenship, Juan Carrion Tudela, along with representatives of the company "Cultural Habitat" have closed the Course "The care of elderly and dependent persons in the household sector, a training which aimed to dozen people, particularly the immigrant population resident in the town of Totana.
The purpose of this training was an opportunity to provide training tailored to their characteristics, considering include counseling, literacy, language training, and other content deemed appropriate for training or job placement in the field of local services and specifically in the care and elderly care and dependent.
This action is part of the generic project of social services that the City Council is made and it is specifically intended to foster the promotion and personal development, improving the skills and capabilities of individuals and groups, in order to promote personal advancement and facilitating the social and labor as the mayor explained.
The recipients of this action have been recipients of some kind of benefit (IMI, APIS, social protection, etc) as well as persons on social integration programs of social service centers.
The training course has provided the participants with skills and basic social skills, as well as specific training tools, to ensure their greater and better training for social integration and their access to employment in the area of care and elder care dependent.
The course is in two parts, one where you have worked basic contents of the profession of nursing care, and another where he has worked through individual and group tutorials, on content designed to advance the promotion and personal development improving skills and capabilities of individuals and groups, in order to promote personal advancement and facilitate social integration and employment.
The mayor, who congratulated all participants of the same, and their monitors, hoped that the knowledge gained could put them into practice.
