The first day of Badminton Championship Sports Promotion of the Region of Murcia, for all categories, part of the School Sports Programme of the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, and the collaboration of the Badminton Federation of Murcia and the Department of Sports City of Totana, took place on Friday 11 December at the local School Board.
The tournament was attended by more than 60 children from various parts of the Region of Murcia and Lorca, Caravaca, Moratalla Alhama and also the participation totanera which was quite large, with a total of 25 students of various educational institutions in "Reina Sofia", "Santa Eulalia", "District" and "Prado Mayor."
From the Sports Council have highlighted the good results achieved by students totaneros on this first day, with teams from the "Reina Sofia" and "Santa Eulalia" occupying the top of the group in the juvenile male and female categories.
In addition, IES Prado Mayor "has had a leading role with individual seats in the cadet and juvenile male categories, and the second day of this competition also played in Hall Totana School on Saturday 16 January, and Regional Final will take place on 26 and 27 February.
