The traditional representation of the Order of the Magi from the hamlet of Paretón-Cantareros totanera, which seeks to maintain ancient customs and traditions, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, January 6 beginning at ten o'clock in the program of events organized by the Department of Culture at Christmas and Epiphany.
The events organized for the day by the Neighborhood Association, Local Neighborhood Board, the Association of Amas and Amos House "equality" in collaboration with the Department of Culture under a grant, and the group of local stakeholders and businesses the resort, start at half past nine with a great chocolate for all participants in the meeting place.
As explained by the mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, City Hall, in a bid to recover the traditions and social support groups, working with the neighborhood association to offer the many visitors the vision of this order, dating from the seventeenth century.

Theatrical history
The Auto sacramental is based on a manuscript dating from the eighteenth century, when they came the first news we have of these representations, which are the most prominent manifestation of its traditional heritage and folklore.
Indeed, in the town of Totana, is in the hamlet of El Paretón, the only place where this tradition is preserved, which is set in the Murcia's work by incorporating traditional costumes typical huertanos characters, whose dialogue panocho , a nuance of the work on a regional basis.
The performance, which lasted about two hours, feeds more than 30 years that has been representing the folk musical heritage from the area and traditional dances.
Thus, on the Road with very Murcia text dating from 1774 and signed the manuscript in 1924 by Bernardino Guirao Garden, is structured in three parts.
The first one corresponds to the encounter of the three Magi from the East, mounted on camels and their respective pages, with the star, represented by a girl on the horse of a donkey, which leads them to the palace of King Herod.
The symbol of the star's guide to the palace site, which maintains a dialogue between the main characters panocho, dressed in traditional costumes huertanos, which is sandwiched also the presence of other characters in the play (King Herod, devil etc.).
