The ceremony of checks amounting to a total of 600 euros, was made in the Plenary Hall of the Ayuntamiento de Totana which took the Councillor for Sports, José Antonio Valverde Reina, President of the Athletic Club of Totana, José Espejo, president of Totana Madridista Peña, Sergio Lopez, and the priest of the Convent of the Three Hail Marys, Father Pedro, representing the two delegations of Caritas in the municipality.
Thanked Sports Councilman involvement of separate associations who in a cause that will benefit families are faring worse right now, so it indicated that every effort is made to that effect is small, because many people are experiencing difficult situations.
Valverde recalled Queen City unconditional support to these efforts and also recognized the work carried out by corporate sponsors and people who have helped make this race the success that was obtained because, despite the weather, more than 140 runners participated.
The two presidents of the clubs also had words of thanks to everyone who contributed to this cause and to the corridors themselves.
For his part, Father Peter said the concern of the two parishes to the plight of many families in Totana who do not have to eat.
In this regard, he recalled that all aid coming from any group or individual is welcome.
