A total of 53 people participated in the visit to the Centre for Environment Bullas, located in the hamlet of La Rafa, belonging to associations of housewives in the town, which was organized by the Department of Consumer Affairs, through Municipal Bureau of Information to Consumers (OMIC).
This initiative is part of the Consumer Education Program Adult conducted since the municipal department.
The visit by the high number of people, was conducted in two groups and had a predominantly didactic, in the aspects related to research and cultivation of traditional agricultural products of the various districts of the region, which is investigated in the treatment of pests, recovery of native species, adaptation to different microclimates in the region, and so on.
It also addressed issues related to efficiency and energy savings in buildings.
On the tour the facilities and bioclimatic house, we sometimes collect information on insulation, heating / cooling systems and design of interior spaces.
The visit was completed with a tour of the center's premises (a botanical garden and workshop traditions) and the site of La Rafa where the camp is located - the same name - whose facilities concluded the visit with a meal in restaurant.
