The traditional twisted roll of kings giant carried out in the town because of the holidays this year, as in the previous edition, will be set up with a charitable purpose, to contribute to research and the fight against cancer through Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Councilwoman Crafts, María Isabel Sánchez Ruiz, along with representatives of the Association of Artisan Bakers Totana, aspartic acid, and the heads of delegation totanera of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, has been reported that the roulade be held as usual on 28 December but that this time will be displayed in the Plaza of the Constitution.
To contribute to the cause, will enable a collection point for donations to be deposited by all those who want to collaborate.
Aspart President, José Antonio Martínez Murcia, explained that the roulade will be developed by the bakers of the town and this year is expected to exceed 140 meters long and is distributed over 5,000 servings.
In the last year inside the roulade hid more than 2,600 figurines and more than 40 gifts donated by merchants of the town.
These wines are made using 250 kilos of flour, 150 kilos of sugar, 20 kilos of baking powder, 60 kilos of butter, 100 gallons of milk, 60 kilos of fruit glazed and 300 liters of heavy cream.
For its part, the vice president of the delegation totanera of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Joaquina Garcia thanked the cooperation of the Association of Artisan Bakers and the City, and that this initiative is actively contributing to disease research cancer, which affects so many families.
