The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities within the actions included in the Second Plan for Equal Opportunities between women and men of Totana, has launched a series of cookery workshops called "Sharing the kitchen" for children.
The objectives of these workshops are to promote family responsibility in the current generation.
It is both boys and girls develop life skills enabling them to take on family tasks and responsibilities of family, Motivate children about the importance of sharing responsibility for household chores, including cooking as a task of the people of family, and develop educational strategies to encourage the distribution of family tasks and roles.
The workshops are offered to all schools in the municipality, in time to be arranged with faculty.
This first workshop began on December 11 different types of school in Santiago, and in February will be held at the College of Lebor and those who will be asking the Department.
The workshop consists of two sessions for each class, where in the first session will explain how to mount the table, how to behave in it and how everything always pick a team, and in the second session, there will be a sweet little skewers contest and salt being the students who carry them out, giving away the / a student who put more creativity on the skewer, etc.
The workshops held in December will work with some Christmas treats.
The materials required for the workshop will be borne by the monitor and the students do not have to bring to class any material.
Class will be delivered on paper and explain the 8 basic rules how to behave in a table at lunchtime, setting the table, etc.
