The past 14 and 15 November the Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped of Totana, PA.DI.SI.TO., carried out activities under the program that has been developing for several years, aimed at offering the families an area of respite care during weekends and holiday periods, while in parallel, this service provides to the disabled community recreation and leisure in which users and participants can enjoy and choose how to enjoy their own leisure space, with the many benefits that this brings its own level of personal and social development.
All this always from a complement approach from management activities (schools and colleges), are done with this group.
Specifically, last weekend held a performance more in this program, the Youth Hostel of Biar, in Alicante province.
During these two days, participants had the opportunity to visit the traditional and cultural town of Biar, parks and castle.
