The Technical Education Project "Integration of children and youth rehabilitative or at risk of social exclusion" launched by the Social Welfare Department recently conducted a meeting with parents of young people who are participating in the project.
The meeting was attended by 12 parents and worked various subjects, and were informed of the activities undertaken to date, and the behavior and response of youth to these activities.
On the other hand, parents expressed their support for the activities and their interest in continuing the project.
It also created a discussion where he talked about the doubts that have as parents in educating their teens.
This project is funded by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration and main objective is to promote and make the learning process of children between 12 and 16 years from disadvantageous family and social contexts and have deficits in the educational, social and family, thereby boosting abilities, skills and attitudes to inclusion, social participation and citizen coexistence.
Within the project plans to develop other social and educational activities with young people through the month of December.
These activities will range from social skills workshops, educational support, creative workshops, sports activities, intercultural workshops, group dynamics, positive employment activities leisure, living in the mountains, etc..
