The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, last Friday signed an annex to the agreement with the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, nine people agreed to offer more in the nursing homes' La Purisima. "
This increase represents a contribution of 137,466 euros to the agreement signed last December 29, 2008 and running until late 2010.
Thus, the total amount for the Autonomous Region amounted to 1,393,626 euros for the 57 seats arranged.
To commemorate the Day of Volunteers, the Minister presided over the act of recognition for volunteering in the municipality of Totana, organized by the City.
This event will have honored 33 volunteer associations and groups and 46 local volunteers.
In addition, he received the card Bascuñana Volunteer Honor.
In the Autonomous Region today, a total of 2,271 seats of which 766 are public while 1,505 are concerted.
On the other hand, the region has about 25,000 volunteers working in 144 institutions.
