Totana People's Party held last night a Board of Directors to address different issues, among which unanimously agreed to support the claims and the demonstration on 21 November in Madrid in support to farmers and ranchers, as well as ensuring the presence of members this party in the demonstration.
The PP agreed to fully support the demonstration and the demands of the organizations COAG and UPA ASAJA to accompany them on this day in Madrid and saw the motion debated in the last full and the side of City Hall calling on the neighbors who add to the demands of agriculture to promote the general strike, culminating in the demonstration for Saturday 21 November in Madrid.
The board decided to support the actions taken by the three organizations through which call for the implementation of a series of measures to restore the profitability of farms and to ensure fair prices for agricultural products.
The call is expected to attend the mayor, José Martínez Andreo, and the Councillor for Agriculture, John Pagan.
Free buses were chartered to depart the same day from the Place de la Constitution de Totana, starting at 4:30 am, for which the Community should contact Totana Irrigation and agricultural organizations.
Furthermore, took stock of the day of coexistence that the PP held at The Santa last October 4 and accounted for sectoral action to be held next Monday at 20:30 hours, to explain how they affect this county the General State Budget (PGE) by 2010 and titled "Zapatero errors we have to be paid" with the presence of national and regional representatives.
