Among the activities planned in the project "Integration of children and youth rehabilitative or at risk of social exclusion", undertaken by the Department of Social Welfare has made a trip to Sierra Espuña.
During the visit in which 15 young people met the Visitor Center "Ricardo Codorniu.
As a first activity, students received a lecture on the flora, fauna and other important issues Espuña.
Then they visited the exhibition hall of the center and finally made a guided tour of the area Espuña Huerta.
The participants were very satisfied with the visit, since most did not know the area, and expressed interest in learning about the environment during the entire journey.
This project is funded by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration and main objective is to promote and make the learning process of children between 12 and 16 years from disadvantageous family and social contexts and have deficits in the educational, social and family, thereby boosting abilities, skills and attitudes to inclusion, social participation and citizen coexistence.
Within the project plans to develop other social and educational activities until December.
These activities will range from social skills workshops, educational support, creative workshops, sport, positive employment activities leisure etc.
