A group of volunteers with older people of Totana, accompanied by residents and users of the centers of Totana: Residence for the Elderly "La Purisima" and Day Care Service for Alzheimer's (SEDA), which manages the Golden Age Messengers Association La Paz Murcia, attended the ceremony in honor of the volunteer work that took place last Tuesday at the residence of San Pedro del Pinatar.
The event, organized to celebrate the Year of the Volunteer, was chaired by the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Immigration Bascuñana Joaquín García, and during which it presented a diploma to the work being done by these people major centers.
Subsequently developed several simultaneous workshops by older volunteers who were present such as physical activity, cooking and crafts, among other things, ending the day with a meal for all attendees.
