Agents of the Special Intervention Group of local police in Totana in collaboration with the Research Group of the Civil Guard station dismantled a group dedicated to drug sales in the municipality.
"Operation Milu" was launched on September 27 in order to eliminate the sale to small and medium scale in the municipality.
The operation began when agents of the Special Intervention Group found that in a downtown bar in the town was peddling illegal substances, this being corroborated by a high influx of known consumers of these substances on the premises.
This evidence was sufficient for agents to police court request an order of entry and search the premises, resulting in the arrest of the married owner of the establishment.
These arrests were the trigger to open a second line of research, culminating in the arrest of three individuals in a home in the town, group operating base where they stored substances and carried out the sales to final consumers.
These three men and two women in Spanish and Bulgarian nationals, identified respectively as MAM, IYN, NPB, MNV and MRM, all residents of this town.
Objects and substances to detainees were taken over 100 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of marijuana, 1 blank gun parabelum 9 mm, 22 cartridges, a precision scale, wire, jewelry and various drugs used for the movement.
These individuals have been brought to justice to the Guardia Civil for the instruction of the relevant proceedings.
