The councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, opened the second edition of "Sewing Workshop 2009" will be held until December of this year's Old Secondary School in order to provide women of different cultures at risk of social exclusion, tools and skills which enable successful integration into working life and social development of the municipality.
During the opening ceremony Carrión gave diplomas to over 20 participants from the previous year, which lasted six months.
The sewing workshop is part of the Department organizes workshops for the promotion of women, which seeks, among other things, to provide participants practical knowledge about the manufacture and repair of clothing.
The knowledge to be transmitted during the course are primarily the domain of basic concepts on pattern of gender discrimination for the preparation and proper handling of sewing machines, among others.
For the implementation of this training sewing with a monitor with higher technical diploma in garment industry and extensive experience that will guide the participants in the course.
