Municipal School of Music in Totana inaugurated the official opening of the academic year 2009/2010 with the completion of a hearing by the Agrupación Musical de Totana which was held at the Teatro del Centro Sociocultural "Jail."
The event was attended by the Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, and the president of the Musical Association of Totana and Councillor of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, along with a large number of students, teachers and fans totaneros to culture and education Music.
The mayor of Education appreciated the assistance of relatives and friends of members of the Musical Association, who delighted the audience with a big audition in which classical pieces interpreted as "Ida y Vuelta" or "The Wizard of Oz."
He acknowledged the work performed by teachers at the School of Music and congratulated the director of the Band, Ceferino Ayala, for their work since 1980.
During the ceremony, recalled that it is working to have an Totana music conservatory.
For his part, Secretary of the musical group of teachers presented the cast composed of more than ten people who will train over 300 students this year are enrolled in the School of Music.
The initiative "Come to the Music," developed by the Municipal School of Music through the Department of Education, taught singing, introduction to music, musical language, recorder, flute, oboe, voice, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, flugelhorn, French horn and trombone as well as classes of instruments such as baritone, tuba, percussion, piano, flamenco guitar, plectrum, and violin.
