The Exhibition Hall will host Gregory Cebrián 13 to October 19 missionary exhibition and sale of handicrafts of the Comboni Missionary Sisters.
During these days, as he explained the mayor of Culture, Ana Belén García López, during the presentation of the activities of this exhibition, the displays teach visitors through 23 panels, images of the five continents in that puts the differences between wealth and poverty and the challenges that come with this duality.
Moreover, explained the organization responsible for the exposure, the Comboni Sisters Encarnita House, in the sample, manufactured objects, brought directly from Africa, where visitors can buy in order to promote and improve the local handicraft market.
Thus, the exhibition will be sold ebony figures, wax paintings, papyri, African fabrics sarongs, scarves, necklaces and bracelets of seeds, Tawa figures (vegetable ivory) and specialized books on missiology, among other things.
The mayor of Culture thanked the work of the sisters in their journey through Africa and the promotion of craft products, which promote the economy of the people in need.
For its part, Encarnita House, Comboni sister has been more than 20 years as a missionary in Uganda, praised the willingness of the City of Totana when working with the organization of the exhibition.
The exhibition is open from 9:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 from 13 to 19 October.
