The Municipal Council of Totana, Roque Molina, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Guillermo Diaz, and course director, Francisco Javier Ballesta Pagán, closed this morning the course "Education for the media in a multicultural society," offered International University of the Sea, which involved about 40 students arrived in Totana from different parts of the Community.
This is the second time that the municipality is taught a course at the University of the Sea and has been widely accepted by professionals and students of the University of Murcia and Cartagena, and a total of 38 people are participating on working days that end on Friday 18 September.
Those responsible for the course have made a positive assessment of the course in which they have assessed the impact of mass media in multicultural society, analyze information and training function of the mass media.
The mayor of Internal Affairs thanked the involvement in the development of this course to all the agents involved and pointed out that the town of Totana have the honor to welcome them back.
In addition, praised the extraordinary coordination between the Sea International University and the City totanero.
During the days of 30 hours, which will be validated for 3 elective credits, students have met the methodological strategies to train citizens in the understanding of media content and establish collaborative proposals between Education and Media of the hand experts from other communities and media professionals.
