Eleven local police officers have received this morning from the hand of President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and more regional authorities, the diploma of theoretical and practical training in the Courtyard of the Artillery Barracks Murcia.
In a solemn ceremony, which was the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councillor for Citizen Security, Roque Molina, and other mayors of the Region of Murcia, the students who take a year working in the municipality, have been certified by the Autonomous Community with more than 617 fellow members of the templates of the other municipalities in the region.
The Councillor for Citizen Security, Roque Molina, congratulated the officers for the achievement of this award and for his work developed in the town during this time "has made clear his good work and their professionalism."
Thanks to the implementation of the Special Plan of Public Safety, conducted by the Autonomous Community, the efforts of the City of Totana, the staff has grown from 25 in 2003 no more than the 56 agents who have at present.
Molina explained that this increase in staff in the municipality makes Totana, increasingly, is a safe city in which agents look after the general interests of the neighbors.
For his part, Mayor of Totana have been pointed out that 20 agents have joined the staff in two phases, today was the second.
The result of the bet on Public Safety, which is an objective of the government team met, will be enhanced later this year when it opens the new headquarters of the local police.

More agents and more prepared
