This course is being a great success and solidarity between students from different fields and specialties and specialist teachers who are participating in teaching of media, from different universities: Valencia, Granada, UNED and recognized experts from print, television and radio .

Among the activities carried out between students and course development was a workshop on "Learning to enjoy the press," taught by Professor Donaciano Bartolomé Crespo, who carried out aimed at showing the dynamics and exemplify all those present, what the methodology used to integrate the use and handling of the press in the classroom teaching.

After a previous individual work based on the selection of possible topics to be addressed, the participants were clustered in groups of two or three people, making a total of ten groups.

Each of the different groups met to discuss and negotiate the issue to be analyzed, working together and achieving common proposals.

Of the ten groups, three of them agreed on the theme of "Youth."

Without exception, all ensured that most of the news gathered tended to show more negative aspects and events on the young, feeding, thus stalled myths and stereotypes about that group.

Headlines like, "That evil is the youth" or even other more direct: "drunk" were some of the above, referring to the altercation Pozuelo.

Others are oriented to classroom violence, and only a few showed solidarity and participatory initiatives by young people.

Two other groups also agreed on issues concerning the "health".

Related to excess weight, "Woman with 33 years with morbid obesity," Gaining weight after age 50 increases the risk of disability, "or with the current flu, etc ...

The rest chose topics on "Environment", with encouraging news about public awareness: "Customers Eroski Murcia 7654 stop using plastic bags in one day."

Conversely, others chose to aim at the "Economy" and its star players: the crisis ("Europe out of recession, but Spain is steeped year) and unemployment.

Find others who paid more attention to news related to the "Solidarity and Support", through donations from, or through local initiative and cooperation.

The last group highlighted the activities on "cultural and leisure", dedicated to children in the Region of Murcia: "Storytelling and Crafts in the English Court."

Asked the participants that the media gives them, we find that 40% of the 38 course participants were of the opinion that the press reports today, what happens in the world, the remaining 60% have other findings such as the possibility to read what really interests them, help them more to think about the information we bring knowledge, know Weird news, while extending their points of view, comparing the same news in different newspapers with different approaches, the misrepresentation of certain information and poorly summarized titúlales not believe everything you write, and it also provides personal enrichment.

In short, for most the press fulfills the mission to inform, educate and entertain fewer cases.
