The Municipal Civil Protection Service of Totana, under the Department of Public Safety and Internal Affairs, made Territorial Emergency Plan of the municipality of Totana, through which sets out the main priorities in the event of an incident or catastrophe in the town.
This plan, which is being revised in the Emergency Department of the Region of Murcia, provides the schematic diagram of the human and material resources needed in case of occurrence of any natural or technological disaster.
Specifically, as reported by the Municipal Civil Protection Service, this document contains specific population data and status of each of the districts, more risk of floods and fires to have all the information necessary to understand the characteristics the site where the emergency occurs.
Also deployed, through maps, the location and length of each road and road of the municipality, utilities, water infrastructure and the rail network, among other things.
The document also shows the location and direction of socio-economic undertakings of the municipality to meet the minimum detail which activities the premises and each of them.
Through this plan, which becomes the basic tool for organizing emergency services, provides all the performance protocol through an organizational scheme which display each of the functions of the intervention groups, both health and social action, safety and logistics, among others.
As reported by the Councillor for Citizen Security and Internal Affairs, Roque Molina, this document will outline a framework for developing different plans for specific emergencies, that will become the basic tool of organization in the event of an accident in Totana.
The mayor pointed out that the development of this plan and improving the quality of services provided by the Department of Public Safety is one of the goals that marked the government team, with the mayor to the head at the beginning of the term .
