Work to install the sewerage network in Lebor, funded by the Local Investment Fund, whose project has amounted to 150.00 euros, optimize the disposal of sewage in the district.
The mayor of Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia, explained that the works were completed in early summer, have involved the construction of a path to a collector sewer that has an approximate length of 630 meters.
Bedia has stressed that these works will have a second phase to get debug hundred percent of the wastewater from the hamlet.
In this regard, he indicated that they are conducting the negotiations with the Ministry of Agriculture and Water to connect the collector with an emissary for deriving the water treatment plant of Totana, so that it can be reused for irrigate the fields.
In addition, the mayor explained that through the various councils that have made possible the speedy implementation of projects financed by the Local Investment Fund has worked for the existence of a balanced distribution of works in all districts of the municipality and emphasis has been placed in areas where the promotion and regeneration of new services were a priority, as is the case of sanitation in Lebor.
The Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development pointed out that thanks to the municipal management have ensured that the money derived by the Local Investment Fund was 5,086,000 euros 1,200,000 euros is possible to obtain more of technical improvements in the works .
It also stressed that through Department of Planning and Sustainable Development, will perform works of sanitation and sewerage value of 1,300,000 euros and has indicated that this investment will also benefit the field of Totana, since the water derived from the treatment plant, once filtered, is used for irrigation.
