Youth Housing office of the City of Totana, a service that offers free information and advice on any questions on housing, has received a total of 277 consultations during the first six months of the year, 35 percent more visits than last year.
Referring to the first half of last year, the public aid related queries relating to rent, have increased by 12 percent, as opposed to inquiries related to public aid in the purchase of housing have fallen 6 percent.
These consultations, according to its content can be broken down into several sections, such as aid in the purchase of housing (71 visits); aid in rental housing (104 queries) queries of a financial and general information service (102consultas).
The service, which is aimed at young people aged between 18 and 35 years, is mainly intended to serve the information required by the young to face the world of housing, since the aim to achieve is that, from a single window free of charge and with as little bureaucracy as possible, the youth can get the best and most complete information and advice to buy, rent and reform, among other things, the property you are looking for.
This service is being developed on the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail" with public service hours during the Monday morning from 10:00 hours to 14:00 hours and 17:00 hours in the afternoon to 21:00; Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 to 14:00, except during the month of August, which are Monday through Thursday evenings from 17:30 to 21:00 hours.
To accomplish these objectives, in addition to staff dedicated to information and guidance of the user, the service has a lawyer, an economist and an architect who is responsible for expert advice and personalized in their respective areas.
This service is offered through the collaboration of the Council of Totana the Youth Institute of the Autonomous Community.
