The draft Social Revitalization of Neighborhoods, which has for 10 years, the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" in collaboration with the Youth Council of the City of Totana, has put an end to leisure, education and culture developed Edutec in during the first half, with very positive results daily attendance, as they have had the participation of more than 350 children and youth of the town.
Throughout these months, participants could enjoy lots of activities including craft workshops and art expression, group dynamics, and traditional table games, organizing competitions, workshops and excursions values education.
This has been developed under the criteria provided education of qualified professionals, in addition to all the above activities have developed an educational support classroom where the kids each afternoon were able to do their homework, answer questions, prepare exams, and even learn techniques study, and all free.
For the development of activities have been open four Edutec Monday through Friday, every afternoon from 17:00 to 20:00 hours, in different parts of Totana, such as: Edutec Puzzle in the neighborhood "El Parral" poolside cover, Edutec "Parcheesi" in the local neighborhood social "Tirol-Camilleri, Edutec" Alvagón "in the park next to the school's Pathfinder Regional and Edutec" Colorines "in the hamlet of El Paretón."
Within the educational programming conducted for the first half of 2009 were chosen as priority objectives and course of action to promote health education and development of healthy living, environmental education and promoting the values of equality between men and women .

From the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" is a very positive assessment of the outcome, noting that "it has obtained an improvement in social competence of the participants since this project began back in 1997, and now we see young people capable of accepting rules, taking turns to speak, solve problems or conflicts nonviolently, to participate actively in the development of the activities, collaborating with educators and the school itself, the ability to work together, take initiative development of other activities, etc.
