The Parents Association of Mentally Handicapped of Totana, PA.DI.SI.TO.
recently celebrated the traditional summer camp that takes place every year, especially between 20 and 26 July 2009.
This year the partnership has led to its users to Castril town in the province of Granada, a unique natural area where the group was able to enjoy nature and the environment.
The activities to be conducted this week, have claimed to be varied and innovative, offering participants a leisure and holiday practice where each participant individually and / or group its own interests and tastes, trying with this offer quality service to all users.
Among the activities, should be highlighted that have included a visit to Rio Castril, and the Cueva del Agua, as those who have led a certain air of adventure and have fun more participants, as they have been through caves and crossing a suspension bridge.
Other notable activities also have been swimming in the pool, night hiking and sightseeing in the area.
As they remember from this partnership, these activities contribute in large measure to provide greater social integration of disabled persons in their social environment, and generally to improve the quality of life for this group as their relatives, purpose principal of this association.
Therefore, we acknowledge the assistance of the City of Totana in this activity and the collaboration of all the volunteers who participated in this camp, recognizing the importance of aid for the maintenance and continuity of these activities that we consider of vital importance for this group.
