The local team "Murcia Painters" it proclaims champion in the "12 hours of football 7" organized by the Department of Sports, which were held this weekend at the Sports City "Espuña" of Totana, and counted involving a total of 23 teams.
The sporting event brought together about 300 players, who gathered at the Sports City, with several teams and neighboring towns like Lorca Mazarrón.
The stands of the sports complex had a great atmosphere throughout the competition as hundreds of fans, friends and relatives of the players did not want to miss this event, which began at five in the afternoon and ended at three o'clock.
The teams were divided into five groups of four and one of three knockout qualifying for the top two in each group and four best third.
From the second round matches were played on knockout.
A semi came, possibly, the four strongest teams, "Murcia Painters", "Bar La Gamba" and "French", "The Nightjar" and "Brothers Construction Palomares."
The team "Murcia Painters" easily beat "The Nightjar" for a comprehensive, four goals to one.
For its part, "Palomares Brothers Building" entered the final by winning three nil to the "Bar La Gamba" and "French."
The final was played at two in the morning and she also attended by a large audience.
The first half was hard fought but ultimately ended up imposing the high quality of the players "Murcia Painters" who defeated "Palomares Brothers Building" by a score of four to one.
This team repeated as champion and last year also won this tournament.
After the final, we proceeded to the trophy presentation by the Councillor for Sports José Antonio Valverde Queen.
