The Councillors for Women and Equal Employment Opportunity and Development, have reported aid to small and medium businesses that voluntarily adopting plans to promote equal opportunities between women and men in their organization, the filing period will remain open until on 30 July.
This initiative is part of the II Plan for Equal Opportunities of Totana, through which, these two city departments, policies intended to promote equal opportunities in employment in the municipality.
With the entry into force of the Organic Law 3 / 2007, for the effective equality between women and men, as reported from these two local areas, states that the development of equality plans for SMEs will be voluntary, after consultation the representation of workers.
This call for proposals are aimed at companies with between 30 and 250 workers for the establishment of plans of equal opportunities between men and women in business in the period 2009.
The amount of each grant is determined by the total amount of VAT, the expenses incurred as specified in Article 3, paragraph 2.1 of the call and a maximum of 10,000 euros.
Applications must be submitted in the standard model under Annexes accompanying the order referred to and the period ends on July 30, 2009.
Eligible expenses will be technical assistance for making the diagnosis of the entity in relation to equality of opportunity between women and men, the costs of developing and implementing the plan of equality, such as those arising from technical advice, and costs associated with establishing and implementing the means provided in the plan of equality, such as awareness campaigns, training, promotions, new hires related to the plan of equal or otherwise.
