One year, the delegation of Hospitality Lourdes de Totana, has made the pilgrimage to the French town of Lourdes, where the shrine of the Virgin.
A total of 60 members of the delegation of Totana been with for five days, from 25 to 30 June, seven patients who have made pilgrimages to the Grotto to participate in activities during international gatherings are held in place.
The City Council of Totana, through the Department of Social Welfare, together with the delegation of Totana Hospitality, have subsidized the passages of the patients who visited the town Lourdes.
During the five days, as explained by the chairman of the delegation, Antonio Garcia, aid the sick and have participated in all activities that have been made showing his love and devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes.
A little history
On February 11, 1858, the Virgin first appeared to Bernadette in the Grotto of Massabielle, and during 18 appearances conveyed a message of Penitence, Pilgrimage, Solidarity, Happiness, and of course Prayer of Love
Since then, pilgrims to the cave situated in the small French town have grown exponentially, and today are thousands of sick and pilgrims who visit each year.
And that's where, year after year, pilgrimage after pilgrimage, there is the so-called "Miracle of Lourdes," a clear sign of God's love on Earth.
