The Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, reported aid and grants so-called "Pequecheque, to partially fund and periodically, household expenditures derived from the cost for services provided to children under three years old in the Centers and Points of Care for Children, the deadline for submission of applications is open until July 31.

The "Pequecheque" which aims to encourage and support the reconciliation of family life and working life, as explained by the mayor, helps working families with children under three years who are enrolled and attending Central and Points Child Care for children 0 to 3 years.
This aid is framed within the family policies being carried out by the Directorate General of Family and Children.
This aid is intended to defray the cost of attendance fee to the Centre in general schedule of less than or Point of Care Center for Children, were excluded from this grant other services and activities that can provide the support center as can be / dining room, playgrounds, summer school workshops, etc.
The aid consists of monthly checks of 50, 75 or 100 euros and the monthly amount will depend on per capita family income.
May apply for this grant parents, guardians or legal representatives of children who are enrolled in centers and Points of Care for Children who are between four months and three years of age and whose income per capita is less than or equal to 12,000 euros (the sum of all household income divided by the number of members).
The application and appendices duly completed, to be presented at the Citizens Advice Service of the City of Totana, they must be accompanied by certified copies of ID, the Family Book, the child's registration certificate issued by the center and bank certificate stating the customer account code and holders of the same, which shall be paid if the amount of the grant.
In the event that the child's family receives additional aid or scholarship for the same purpose, must submit certificate stating the amount paid.
The income of the family unit is credited presenting income statements make every computable members of the Family Unit and for the convocation of 2009, they shall refer to the Income Statement of 2008.
The monthly subsidy amounts could range from a maximum of 100 euros and to a minimum of 50 euros per month, they come set by per capita income groups.
Payment of grants will be made for the months between September and December 2009, in a single payment by bank transfer to the beneficiaries, and the next payment, referring to the months of January to June 2010, also made by single payment by bank transfer to beneficiaries.
