The "24 Hours of Futsal", organized by the Sports Council of Totana, was held last weekend, at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez", framed in the Summer Sports Program, and which involved a total of 23 teams, both of Totana and other places such as Alicante, Murcia, Alhama and Mula.
Since the municipal department has emphasized the smooth running of the competition with a fine sportsmanship of all participating teams and the good atmosphere in the stands of the Sports Pavilion, despite the high temperatures reached during all weekend week.
The competition began on Saturday, July 4, with the first phase, teams were allocated into seven groups, going to the finals on Sunday July 5 for the winners of each of them and the best second, to complete the picture quarter-final.
The team totanero "Alucasa" won first place in the tournament, defeating in the final team "Puntarrón FS, from Mula, with a final score of six goals to three.
The semi-finals were the teams "as is" and "Ebony Kitchens."
The official closing of the tournament was conducted by the council of Sports City of Totana, José Antonio Valverde Queen, who presented the trophies to the four best teams in the tournament, plus a cash prize of 600 euros for the winner, 300 for runners-up and 100 euros for semifinalist teams.
