The Agricultural Advisory Council, a body composed of representatives of trade unions, employers organizations and the sector of Agriculture and Livestock of the town of Totana, has become the engine of momentum in these sectors in the locality.
During the last meeting held yesterday, was established a working committee to develop the project "Farmer's House", which brings together all services related to these sectors of production.
The commission, which will consist of each of the presidents of the agricultural unions and farmers, a representative from the Health Protection Association of sheep, goats and pigs, and a representative from each political group and a technical team.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, who chaired the Agricultural Council, along with the mayor of Agriculture, Livestock and Water, John Pagan, told members of the working committee that drafted the bill if the end of this year, starting the work can be included in the 2010 budget, so in that year would begin the work.
It was also agreed definitely hold a competition of ideas to create a corporate image of the livestock and agriculture in the county, with the aim of promoting outside our borders Totana products.
On the one hand, the mayor of Agriculture explained to the participants the steps it has undertaken the task force is preparing the "First Fair of Agriculture and Livestock", to be held the last weekend of September.
