The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo and aldermen of hamlets, Sustainable Development and Environment yesterday inaugurated the "Road of the Jaboneros" located in the deputation totanera of Morti, whose project has an investment of EUR 30,440.10.
These works of installation of equipment and basic infrastructure have cost lighting for 17 points of light with an approximate power of 1,700 watts to provide the path of sufficient lighting.
Thus, with the execution of these works of street lighting, which fall in the draft State Plan Local investment, responds to the demands raised for years by residents of this council.
As explained by the mayor of hamlets, Juan Pagan, the works have been carried out by the company Gedesur, which has employed ten workers, five of which have been newly recruited.
He indicated that the Consistory will work through all areas to arrive to the districts and county all services needed and requested by the neighbors of the same.
For his part, Mayor of Totana, who picked up the demands of the locals who sought to improve the drinking water supply, welcomed the work carried out by the Department of Sustainable Development in implementing lighting works .
Martínez Andreo said that this year will be developed in the municipality works worth 15 million euros, of which "over 90 percent of projects are funded either by the Autonomous Community or the State Fund Local Investment. "
The government team, as stressed Martínez Andreo, has sought to manage financial resources from the Plan E "in the best way, always taking into account the needs of each of the areas of the municipality"
