The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the Minister of Social Policy, Women and immigration, Joaquín Bascuñana, have signed a cooperation agreement amounting to 127,439 euros for the provision of services and programs for equal opportunity and care women victims of gender violence.
The event was the presence of municipal council of 47 municipalities which signed several agreements related to this matter.
Through the signing of this agreement is to promote the implementation of programs and the creation of structures aimed at promoting equal opportunities, and promote the implementation of actions to victims of domestic violence with tools necessary to overcome the consequences of abuse, promoting social inclusion and employment.
Likewise includes training on gender and equal opportunities for staff of government as well as professionals in any field and students and promote training programs for women and promote training activities specifically designed to prevent and detect violence gender.
This agreement includes funding for the costs of operation of the Center for Individual and Group Care for Women Victims of Violence.
Through this agreement also will provide services and activities will be on equal opportunities, aimed at encouraging coeducation and the sharing of family responsibilities, encouraging actions to promote associations and social and cultural, among others.
Specifically, for the operating program of the Center for Specialty Care of Victims of Domestic Violence, CAVI 60,000 euros will go up for the program to provide services and activities on gender equality 42,689 euros, and finally, 24,750 euros will be allocated to the operation of local employment center.
