The students of Initial Vocational Training Program, in the form of Professional Workshop "Related Activities Nursery and Gardens" developed by the Department of Public Works and Employment together with students of Occupational Classroom, launched through a collaboration agreement the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the Department of Education, recently participated in two workshops on job training and nutrition techniques taught by municipalities.
During the first workshop entitled "What I can do to find work?" Technique developed by the Local Employment Centre, María José Sánchez García, students had the opportunity to reflect on issues such as the current situation of young people aged 16 to 20 years in relation to access to a job, attitudes towards the employment of this group, demands and working conditions offered by companies, the unemployment statistics in Totana by sectors, occupations, age groups and level of studies and employment resources in the municipality to seek employment.
On the other hand, in the workshop titled "Healthy Food" carried out by the degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, María Dolores López Carrasco, students discussed issues related to nutrition during adolescence: the current diet, food distribution and daily consumption of certain food for a balanced diet guidelines to follow for healthy habits, the consequences of obesity, etc ...
