The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Cadastral Area Manager Murcia, Justo Parejo Pablos, this morning signed a new cooperation agreement between government cadastral.
As reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, through this new cooperation agreement cadastral Totana delegated to the City Council the powers of processing and approval of cadastral records of legal changes relating to urban and rural real estate.
The delegation was accepted by the plenary of the Corporation on 29 July 2008.
Furthermore, this agreement is attributed to the City Council file management functions of altered physical and economic order on real estate and rustic.
The General Directorate of Land Registry has carried out an improvement of services to citizens through the implementation of new technologies in eGovernment through the establishment of Cadastral Information Points (CIP).
In Totana there are two PIC managed by the city of Totana serving as direct service provider to the public, responding to the demand for cadastral information of those who do not have the appropriate computer and communication media.
Thus, just as reported by one representative each from the government, every citizen can enjoy all the benefits of telematics access cadastral information but do not have Internet at home.
Specifically, since the Cadastral Information Point can access the National Database of Land Registry and therefore all properties in Spain (except Basque Country and Navarra) serving a single request for access is available at the Information Point .
