The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, has applied to the Government, Rafael González Tovar, strengthen surveillance and public safety support of the Civil Guard, with the collaboration of local police and security services rural stepping up surveillance in the municipality to provide solutions to the latest wave of robberies that are plaguing rural areas of El Raiguero and the Paretón.
Among recent events that occurred, include an increase of robberies in houses, shops and businesses in these two districts of the municipality.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, held a meeting with the councilman of Public Safety, Roque Molina Legaz, members of the Guardia Civil and Local Police, who have shown concern over robberies in the area totanero field.
The mayor explained that it will launch a special device in the most affected areas, which are used for patrols made up of rangers who work regularly with the local police, in addition to patrols whose actions will be coordinated by the Guardia Civil and Local Police.
Also, the mayor announced that from now on be more coordinated with all the Security Forces of the town, due to staff increases registered in both templates.
In this regard, he stressed the effort that the City has been doing in public safety to "spare no personal or financial means" to ensure security for citizens of the municipality.
