The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Council of Industry, José Antonio Valverde Queen, and Commerce, María Isabel Sánchez, congratulating "coated" and Fernando Fuentes, Agromediterránea Group, who were awarded the Mercury (Crafts) and Business Development Award, respectively, on the Night of the Economics of Murcia, where the Chamber of Commerce presented the awards "Mercury" 2009.
City officials attended the ceremony, which was attended by the President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and more than 700 business representatives.
The event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia for more than 30 years, pays tribute to companies and entrepreneurs Murcia recognizing their work and career, through the granting of awards.
The Mercury Prize was awarded to Coato Craft and Business Development Award, an award given annually by the Chamber of Commerce and personal recognition to the path of entrepreneurs who have made an outstanding contribution to the economic process of the Murcia Region, was Fernando Fuentes, Agromediterránea Group.
In last year's edition, the Merchants' Association, the Association of Artisans and Crafts Association and Pottery Totana the town received a special mention in the Awards "Mercury" 2008.
