Occupational Classroom students have received various training workshops conducted by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia and Totana the local police in order to make them aware of the problems caused by the consumption of drugs and raising awareness of the importance of respecting the rules of the road.
The Occupational Classroom, which was launched last October through a partnership agreement signed with the Ministry of Education, attended by students from the Institutes of Secondary Education "Juan de la Cierva" and "Prado Mayor" not wish to continue their studies in this mode and is located in the Old Secondary School where they receive training to prepare for access to the Initial Vocational Training Program, among other issues.
The workshop "Drug Addiction", by technicians of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, has aimed to establish preventive measures with the highest risk groups, including the adolescents.
We therefore try to identify risk factors in addition to developing and promoting healthy habits at this stage pre-employment, in order to help young people avoid in future the initiation, maintenance or the abuse of narcotic substances.
On the other hand, the Road Safety Education Workshop, organized by the Traffic School of Police Local de Totana in collaboration with the departments of Public Security and Traffic and Public Services, was developed to improve the training of young in this area.
Also offered a session mainly focused on promoting safe behavior patterns, involving respect for safety standards and driving.
This workshop is intended to reflect the young students about the importance of wearing a helmet when riding a motorcycle and the terrible consequences caused mixing alcohol with driving.
