The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councillor for Health, Trini Cayuela, the president of the Regional Association of Hemophilia Murcia, Manuel Moreno, and Vice President of the Royal Foundation Victoria Eugenia, Ana Villar, inaugurated the "III International Course Continuing Education in Haemophilia and other congenital coagulation disorders "Training Center" brothers Manuel and Javier Moreno "in Totana, organized by the Scientific Committee of this institution.
This training, with about thirty participants, will run until Friday 22 May at the Center, where they housed all attendees, and has been sponsored by the Ministry of Health and in collaboration with several pharmaceutical companies.
This third edition of this course brings together the best hematologists in Spain, and has as main objective to impart the latest knowledge related to the Hemophilia in their pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment so that a significant number of hematologists expand their training and knowledge of congenital coagulopathies as explained Dr. Manuel Moreno.
Also, Moreno has highlighted the usefulness of this course, which will result in facilitating the diagnosis and treatment at early ages of haemophilic patients and other irreversible consequences avoiding iatrogenic complications.
For its part, Ana Villar has encouraged young people to train in hematology given the sheer existence of trained young generations in this regard.
The Mayor of Totana, who welcomed all attendees, expressed his satisfaction and gratitude for being able to open this year, which shows the interest at the professional level to address this type of disease, encouraging attendees to take full advantage during its development, while inviting them to know "more about" this county and the region.
In the same way, and expressing its sensitivity to this issue, noted that "from the local government we are willing to devote to these issues and you can count on an ally when it comes to cover your needs are concerned, collaborating on improving quality of life of these people. "
Finally, he highlighted the tireless work carried out by Dr. Moreno has managed to convey to the Administration as "sensitivity and enthusiasm" for this disease, and highlighted the work done on behalf of the World Federation of Hemophilia, ensuring the cooperation of the Consistory totanero in activities that promote hereinafter Center, just as he has done so far.
