More than 150 polling agents representing the PP in the 30 tables spread across the different schools of Totana (14/05/2009)

More than 150 polling agents of the bases of the PP in Totana, between auditors and attorneys, will be mobilized during the elections to be held on June 7 to elect representatives to Parliament in the 30 tables spread across the 15 polling stations this county.

The ceremony was also attended by the president of the local PP, Isabelle Nau, general secretary PP Lorca, Angel Garcia Aragon, Executive Member of the local party and municipal government representatives totanero, said campaign coordinator and spokesperson for the municipal José Antonio Valverde Queen.

Auditors and attorneys, many of them from New Generations organization met yesterday at the headquarters of the PP totanero to receive a final training day by representatives of the regional executive of PP and, to this act, to kick official start to the fundraising and the calendar of events organized this party in this city during the next three weeks.

The current CEOs of Aging and Sports, Paloma Recio and Antonio Peñalver, as organic representatives of the PP in the Region of Murcia, reported the program of events planned in Murcia, starting just next Saturday with a meeting of former President Jose Maria Aznar and the PP regional militants.

Moreover, explained the political and human profile of the candidate Murcia Cristina Gutiérrez-Cortines, who appears again in places of departure, and realized the work it has developed over the past five years in Brussels on issues affecting this autonomous community.

They also explained the importance of the electoral process and the need to mobilize the electorate before the date of the election.

During the meeting, presented the election that the PP acts of Totana organized in neighborhoods and districts, as well as sectoral meetings is expected to hold with representatives of the business and agriculture, just as with social and neighborhood.

In Totana, where turnout was 51.4% of the local electorate in the last European elections of June 13, 2004, the PP scored a total of 5703 votes (61.57%), while the PSOE counted 2943 votes (31 , 77%) and UI 492 (5.3%).

In the whole of the Region of Murcia PP added the 59% of the votes, while the PSOE won 35%.
