Municipal Service Control Prevention and Truancy of the Department of Education has launched a "Shop of Stories," aimed at those students taking first and second cycle of primary education, in order to reflect the younger the municipality on the importance of education in their lives.
This initiative, which is part of the "Awareness Campaign Against Truancy 2008/2009" has been made possible by a grant from the Regional Employment Service and Training totanero granted to the session.
This campaign, which began on April 20 coinciding with the celebration of World Book Day, "has taken place throughout the month of April.
With this "Story Workshop" has sought to reflect the youngest municipality on the importance of education in their lives.
The "Owl Hector" Truancy Service mascot and protagonist of the story, has allowed smaller retrain about how lucky they are to receive educational training and the need to attend class every day.
In total, 10 workshops have been conducted, of which benefited a total of 212 students belonging to the first and second primary centers that have claimed this activity, these being the Colegio "San José" and College "Guadalentín" situated in the hamlet of Paretón.
With the implementation of these workshops is to prevent and Tales eradicate truancy and early leaving the education system in our town.
