The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, the president of the Hunting Federation of Murcia, and the President of the Sports Association "The Hinojar" of Totana, Juan Vicente Martinez, surrendered the awards in the twentieth edition of "Wildlife Championship Autonomous Community of Murcia, which was held last Sunday at the Polideportivo Municipal "December 6" in the locality.
This tournament, organized by the Association of Wildlife "The Hinojar de Totana" and the Hunting Federation of the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports City of Totana.
During Sunday morning about 170 birds competed in the categories of finches, goldfinches mixed, and mixed nerds nerds.
In total, 28 municipalities in the region were represented at this championship.
Throughout the morning the municipal sports center was very busy with over 300 attendees including the owners of the birds, family, friends and fans wild.
The most outstanding results were the following: Julio Fernandez Mena totanero was first Goldfinches and Antonio Ponce Gallardo totanero also finished third in mixed goldfinches.
Both represent Totana and the Region of Murcia in Spain in the championship to be held on May 31 in Aranjuez.
