Volunteer Service and Municipal Relations cards renewed more than 200 volunteer (08/05/2009)

Municipal Volunteer Service and International Relations, a project launched by the third consecutive year from the Department of Civic Participation in collaboration with the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle", has renewed between March and April more of 200 cards of various associations and entities of the municipality

This service, whose main objective is the promotion, enhancement and strengthening of voluntary action in the town of Totana, aims to highlight the recognition and promotion of the action that many volunteers conducted in the municipality through the establishment of a complementary project to the Service Volunteer.

This project is "Fair Trade" that provides discounts at various businesses and shops in the town, as well as services offered by the City Council of Totana (cultural events, training courses, sports activities, etc.) Presenting the card that credited as a volunteer for any nonprofit institution of the municipality.

Since this service has highlighted the importance of voluntary action is, making a valuable contribution to economic and social development while Totana is an important form of participation of volunteers in the life of the City Council.

With this card municipal volunteer volunteers can benefit from various discounts and bonuses in both retail as municipal services.
