A-Countersong
After several years of intensive testing, and trying to innovate in the arrangements of music for stringed instruments and vocals, has appeared a new band, "A-Countersong" which comes to extend the already rich musical landscape Region of Murcia and Spain.
We're talking about a group of 40 members (all of Totana) distributed among 14 instruments and 26 voices from different gangs Christmas, choirs, choirs and orchestras of our province, and met a great deal of passion, ambition, perfectionism, feeling while musical knowledge.
The formation is composed of lutes, mandolins, guitars, bass, percussion, timples, Cuban tres, charangos and voices, which together with a careful staging and an elegant wardrobe, make the public can enjoy two hours of music direct care and great sound equipment (24,000 W Array + lighting) Recalling themes of yesterday, today and forever ... but all under a different point of view, adapting songs as well known as Noelia, Anxiety, Think of me, ETC. stringed instruments and filling them with feelings and new sounds.

"A-Countersong" aims to enrich the range of melodic events we already know by entering a repertoire of songs (isas, boleros, Cuban son), some not too well known by the public and musical arrangements performed by musicians and performed with components own distinct style to the other good and varied music options available.
What was only an idea of some crazy musicians, began to take shape when, in early February 2006, convened the first of the meetings which was attended by a few stakeholders, the group was gradually expanded to what now is: ACONTRACANTO.
The reviews of the latest performances have been very positive, agreeing in all the professionalism of the components and the feeling and taste to interpret the themes that make up our repertoire.
