More than thirty young people 1 and 2 of the Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) have participated in the competition "comics", organized by the Department of Education through the Municipal Service for Prevention and Control of truancy, which is part within the program of activities of the "Awareness Campaign Against Truancy 2008/2009".
This contest is intended to reflect the youth of the municipality of the importance of education in their lives and their future, as well as the negative consequences of abandoning the education system
Participants are organized in pairs and each pair has been entered into the competition a comic, that promotes the importance of education, the causes of truancy and the consequences that this problem can lead to both short and long term.
The works must reflect the importance of attending class, with the intention of preventing school failure, absenteeism and early school dropout.
The comic includes a phrase that encourage children to attend class, you should be happy, clear and concise and with a striking message.
The winning comic will become the property of the City of Totana which may reproduce it freely, without any right accruing such reproduction and the Department of Education reserves the right to add a strip in showing the logo of the City of Totana.
Will evaluate the originality, quality of work submitted to the contest and the message to be conveyed
Once the jury finds the decision, proceed to the awards ceremony and will award a first prize of 150 euros to the winning couple and a second prize of 100 euros for the couple who is in second position.
