The Department of Youth and the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle", in proceedings usually being developed in the programming Revitalization Project in neighborhoods and districts have developed various activities and workshops to raise awareness and respect for Environment on the occasion of the commemoration of "Earth Day."
This conclusion was made within a week of activities culminating in a drawing competition in which children of Edutec "Puzzle", "Alvagón", "Parcheesi" and "Colorines" have been expressing concern and special sensitivity to issues related to the environment such as global pollution, deforestation, forest, water scarcity, global warming and all these problems generate effects on life on our planet.
As every April 22 for 37 years, is celebrated Earth Day with the aim of sensitizing the public about the problem of pollution, conservation of biodiversity and other environmental concerns to protect the land.
The activities were conducted successfully, and boys and girls enjoyed enthusiastically informal training days that was expressed in the diagrams on the nature and the environment in which it became clear the meaning and values of this day.
In addition, each awarded Edutec work best reflected this reality.
