Totana participates in the Regional Employment Commission composed of the municipalities in the region of Guadalentín (04/05/2009)

The councilman of Promotion and Employment, Trini Cayuela, accompanied by technicians from the municipal department has participated in the creation and presentation of the "Commissions Employment district areas of Upper and Lower Guadalentín" that took place this morning in Lorca, an initiative driven by the Regional Employment Service and Training.

The act of incorporation of the Regional Committee on Employment of High and Low Guadalentín been attended by representatives of all the municipalities encompassed by it as are Totana, Eagles Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla, Lorca, Mazarron and Puerto Lumbreras.

The commission, in addition to the Regional Employment Service and Training, was attended by representatives of INEM and Development Institute, the area of formal training, as well as the Regional Confederation of Business Organizations (CROEM), General Union of Workers (UGT) and Workers Commissions (CCOO)

The organizational structure of the project "Local Employment Committees" provides for the establishment of nine county committees responsible for carrying out in their respective territories, development, implementation and monitoring of this project, with important functions related to the evaluation and analysis local labor markets and employment apolitical and proposing new actions, plans or guidelines that would be addressed in this area.

During their meeting this morning has agreed to conduct a diagnostic study of the various municipalities socioeconomic framed in this project, the coordination will be carried out by Lorca, as the municipality with the highest population density.

The mayor has expressed its satisfaction with the establishment of this committee and for attending this event which has been a forum for reflection, analysis and Studio element of all activities, programs and policies, promoted by public authorities , to allow an improvement in production models and the employment of our region. "
